Huckabee Saves Life With Heimlich

Although he is no longer in the running for president, former Republican candidate Mike Huckabee still has the best interest of his fellow Americans in mind.  This weekend, while in attendance at the North Carolina Republican Party convention he performed the Heimlich Maneuver on Robert Pittenger, the candidate for the state’s Lieutenant Governor position, likely saving his life.

Huckabee apparently saw someone patting Pittenger on the back, and realized he was choking.  He excused himself from the person he was talking with, walked over there and dislodged the food and then returned to his conversation.  Way to go Mike!
